EMOTIONAL HEALTH
The challenges of daily life can often feel overwhelming. Sometimes we may struggle to feel seen, heard, or recognized for who we are. Anxiety, depression or feelings of disconnection can often leave us wondering where we are headed, as we search for a path toward healing and a better understanding of ourselves and others.
Music therapy offers a creative way for clients of all ages to express challenging feelings, develop new perspectives on personal and family relationships, release tension, and work through difficult patterns of behavior. Music psychotherapy is derived from humanistic practices based on unconditional positive regard for the patient and their individual needs.
By developing and examining a client’s relationship to music and musical experiences, music therapy helps individuals gain insight, and create new, more thoughtful, and more empathetic relationships with themselves and the world around them.
